Franck Savard is not a bike rental facilitator like others. Born into a well educated family and working later as a policeman on bike, this engineer was not hiding his passion and his calling to invent things on two wheels, no matter if motor- operated or not. After becoming French champion on motorbike in 1975 and 1978, Cart League champion in 1985 (with the qualification to participate the world championship), Franck Savard was often accompanied by his monozygotic twin brother Patrick, who himself was a successful technician with his motors being used for several world championships. They developed different new technologies in the world of motors and bikes, all confirmed by letters of patent. So come in and find out, discover the epos of bikes (European champion of 1991), the adventure of EGS with its revolution of synchrony shift, gear change in front and back for bicycles, whose letters of patent have been bought by the cycle giant Shimano as one of the first worldwide. Should you be curious now, just type “Franck Savard” in your preferred search engine on your computer and you will find out that the bicycle rental in Saint Martin de Ré itself is a rolling attraction. Meanwhile, find below some examples of his extraordinary inventions.
